LaShun McGhee, owner of Reminisce Events, is an event planner at heart.   Whether it’s  a simple gathering of 20-50 people or a large 800 or more,  LaShun and Reminisce Events can take care of all your planning needs.

As a Certified Event and Wedding Planner, LaShun has been bringing smiles  since the late 90’s. Starting as a hobby, she loves attention to detail, organizing and bringing people together through events.  She turned her passion into purpose in 2005 and Reminisce Events was born!  Whether it's a social, family, community or corporate event; Reminisce Events is experienced to plan it with you.

LaShun's event planning experience and degrees in Psychology and Business Administration-Marketing along with her counseling skills have been instrumental in her success.  She is a driven professional who keeps abreast of industry trends.   She most recently earned the distinction of being a candidate of the inaugural graduating class for Certified Professional Event and Wedding Planners through LWPI.  This accomplishment certifies her as a skilled event and wedding planner; expanding her services from all aspects.  "I enjoy helping others bring their vision to pass and events are a great way of doing so."  She also believes in giving back to the community where she offers her event planning services for a local agency twice per year.

LaShun is committed to building and supporting the family unit and participates in efforts that will support this as well.

What makes Reminisce Events stand out from the rest?  When it comes to weddings: we do not believe in "just planning the day", but we function under the pretense that we are the liaison from the pre-wedding to the marriage. We are committed to the longevity of marriage and offer relationship education to all clients as a part of either wedding, proposal, or reunion package chosen.  We carry that same attitude toward all other events as well; we are planning the event to provide 'an experience' and help create lasting memories for all participants.
